As
parents it is so important
that we teach our children
the skills to search the
Scriptures and let the Lord
speak to them through His Word.
For this reason one of the
products we are most excited
about are the Quiet Time Sheets.
These sheets are enormously
helpful in guiding children in
their morning devotions and are
a great way to get them to study
the Scriptures on their own.
A direct question
is a powerful way
to stimulate thought and was the method Christ often used as He engaged His listeners. Using this method your child will be given a page a day, many with a question at the top of the sheet and a scripture reference at the bottom to guide them in their devotions. Other activities include transcribing related Scriptures and writing out prayers of praise following a week of study. Some of the topics studied throughout the year include: gratitude in the week of Thanksgiving, Jesus' incarnation at Christmastime and during Easter the death and resurrection of Christ. Other topics invite students to reflect upon God's creation and consider many of His amazing attributes.
The
pages from their personal study
of the Scriptures
are collected in a notebook that
will offer children the gift of
reflection and spiritual growth
that they can draw from
throughout their lives.
The Quiet Time Sheets also
include additional pages your
student can use to record prayer
request and concerns. Another
section is available for them to
write down and remember the many
kindnesses the Lord brings into
their lives, thus cultivating a
grateful heart.
